This is adapted form an Bahn Mi handbook which is truly yummy and worth making for pork belly and other cuts.
2 cloves Garlic - mined fine or micro-planed
1/2 tsp Chinese 5 Spice powder
2 tsp sesame oil
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp ketchup
2 tbsp honey
3-4 tbsp hoisin sauce
Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix till smooth and incorporated.
