This is an amazingly yummy banana pudding! Recipe is untested but the stuff from Mission BBQ is out of this world.
2 boxes of Instant Vanilla Pudding
2 cups Milk
8 oz Sour Cream
4 oz Cool Whip
Vanilla Wafers As Needed
Brown Spotted Ripe Bananas As Needed
Slice 1/4 of a brown spotted ripe banana into 1/4 coins and place into a mixing bowl.
Smash the bananas up a little bit to make a smoother pudding.
Combine the milk and instant vanilla pudding into a mixing bowl with the bananas.
Using a hand held mixer, mix on low until creamy (approximately one minute).
Add sour cream and mix until just combined.
Fold in the Cool Whip by hand.
Cover and refrigerate.
Let set for at least two hours before portioning.
TO SERVE:
Cover the bottom of an individual serving bowl with whole, crushed and broken vanilla wafers.
Slice four 1/4 slices of brown spotted ripe bananas and cover the vanilla wafers completely.
Scoop the set up pudding on top of the bananas.
Top banana pudding with a marble sized doll-up of Cool Whip.
Sprinkle the pudding with 1 t. of crushed vanilla wafers.
